I had a blog written by English long time ago. Domain name is difficult and not easy to remember. Almost an year ago, I bought a new domain and add my real name on it like another designers I admire.
Writing English is still not easy but I’m getting better. One of problems is I didn’t understand about the construction of this wordpress blog. I spend 3 hours front of computer and finally I understood what’s the difference menu, page and category this evening.
Maybe this issue is one of my another English barrier. WordPress suggest Korean language service. But, there are limited in outline and payment system. I got feel like I just solved first question of math exam.

I’m living in small town called Athens and population of this is just over 3000. Peoples are so kind and friendly. Everybody know each other and sometimes, it’s little bit difficult to get inside of them. I got a part time job at Fresh Mart and I’m working 14~15 hours a week. I’m getting tiny mini paycheck every other week. But I get a chance to meet most of people in this town with wonderful co-workers.

I asked to be my model to daughter of Jenn few months ago. I met Mitzi today, who is an one of customer. I showed her some of my sample and ask be my model. She said happily yes. Becca(Jen’s daughter) and Mitzi has totally different charm.
It will take some time to blocking shawls and sew buttons, then I can take pictures with them.

It’s a kind of lucky day today for me.

I met a very vivid rainbow behind the post office last saturday. I had no camera . Run home to get it and took a picture on the road front of my house. Here’s my lucky rainbow. 🙂

꽤 오래전에 영문 블로그를 운영했었습니다. 그런데 도메인 명이 복잡하고 기억하기 쉽지 않아서 새로운 도메인을 약 일년전에 구입했지요. 존경하는 다른 디자이너들이 그런것처럼 그 도메인에 내 이름을 그대로 붙였습니다. 영어를 쓰는것은 아직도 익숙지 않지만 그래도 많이 좋아지고 있는 중입니다. 하지만, 이 워드프레스블로그의 구조는 꽤 오랫동안 이해하기 쉽지 않았어요. 어쩌면 또 다른 언어 장벽일수도 있겠고, 네이버나 다음의 블로그 구조에 오랫동안 익숙해져서인 탓도 있을 거예요. 오늘 오후 컴퓨터 앞에서 3시간 가량을 보내고 나서야 페이지, 메뉴 그리고 카테고리가 어떻게 다른지 이해하게 되었습니다.  워드프레스는 한글도 지원을 하지만 한정적입니다. 마치 수학시험의 첫 문제를 푼것 같은 기분이예요.

내가 살고 있는 곳은 아네테라고 불리우는 작은 마을입니다. 아테네지만 그리스가 아닌 캐나다의 동부 온타리오에 있어요. 작은 마을의 사람들은 모두 친절하고 상냥하지만 모두 이곳에서 나고 살아온 사람들이라서 그 사이에 섞이기가 쉽지 않습니다. 동네에 있는 수퍼마켓에서 파트타임 으로  일주일에 14~15시간 일을 하게 된 뒤로 약간의 급여도 받긴 하지만 더 많은 것들을 얻게 되었습니다. 사람들을 이웃들을 하나 둘 알게 되고 또 섞여 들게 되었지요.

함께 일하는 젠의 딸에게 모델이 되어 줄것을 한참전에 물었었습니다. 그리고 오늘은 종종 방문하는 손님중에 한명인 밋지를 만나서 몇몇개의 샘플을 보여주고 모델이 되어 줄수 있느냐고 물었구요. 밋지는 행복하다며 물어봐 줘서 고맙다고 했습니다. 흔쾌히 모델이 되어 주기로 했구요. 젠의 딸인 베카와 동갑인 밋지는 둘다 참 예쁘기도 하지만 전혀 다른 매력을 가지고 있습니다. 일주일에서 열흘정도 블록킹을 하고 또 단추를 달고 할 시간이 필요하긴 하지만 이젠 오랫동안 미뤄 왔던 일들을 하나둘 할수 있게 되었습니다.

이러니 오늘이 운좋은 날일수 밖에요. 🙂

지난 토요일 우체국 뒤에 선명하게 떠 있는 무지개를 만났습니다. 그순간 카메라가 없어 집까지 뛰어가 집앞 도로에서 사진에 담았을땐 아쉽게도 많이 흐릿 해졌어요. 행운을 가져다 준 것같은 무지개 사진을 올려 봅니다.
