Lin Sweater: knit.purl Spring/Summer 2016

March was really tough month for me. I had a worst flu ever in my life. I have a good news too on March. But, I didn’t have any energy to write about it.
I’m very happy to introduce my new design ‘Lin sweater’ finally. It’s up on knit. purl S/S issue.

I did copy the detail of this sweater on Ravelry design page.

With its top-down, saddle-shoulder construction and luxurious Dune yarn from Shibui Knits, this sweater breezes off the needles. The stripes are worked in modern, subtle colors with an interesting joining detail on the front.

Finished Size 35¼ (38¼, 41¾, 45½, 49)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 38¾”; modeled with 4¼” of positive ease.

Yarn Shibui Knits Dune (50% baby alpaca, 25% baby camel, 25% silk; 142 yd 130 m/1¾ oz 50 g): tar (A), 4 (5, 5, 5, 6) hanks; velvet (B), 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) hanks.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm): 24” and 32” circulars (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

It was happy moment to work used Shibui yarn. I had heard about this yarn but, didn’t get a chance to use them till then.
