Tarae is my 6 years old fur baby. Write Tarae and read Tah-ray. It means yarn ball or yarn skein. Isn’t it seem like totally Knitter’s cat name? I didn’t know that my Canadian friends feel so hard to pronounce this name. Veterinarian wrote his name ‘Tally’ on the medical chart. What ever he’s the world best lovely kitty to me. He’s getting fat day by day. Friends of mine want to see his picture. So, I took some last Tuesday afternoon. He’s taking a nap inside of the blanket made in 2009 by myself on the couch.

타래는 이제 6살이 막 된 내 아기입니다. 영어로 Tarae라고 쓰는데 읽을때는 Tah타-ray레라고 읽어요. 한국어로는 털실한덩어리를 말하는데 뭐 이정도면 니터의 고양이 이름으론 좀 멋지지 않나요? 처음에 타래라고 이름 지었을때는 캐네디언 친구들이 발음하기 어려울거라고는 생각하지 못했어요. 그래서 동물병원의 차트에는 탈리Tally라고 씌여 있고, 이름덕에 여자아이라고 오해도 종종 받아요. -_- 몇몇 친구들이 타래근황을 궁굼해 하고 사진을 보고싶어 해서 지난 화요일에 찍은것 몇장 올려 봅니다. 소파위에 있는 2009년도에 만든 담요속에 들어가서 낮잠중이예요.

I made this blanket through end of 2008 to early 2009 and then I took pictures on the May. I used vintage yarn from my Father-in-law. He bought a box of yarn at the auction and gave it to me. Almost 6 or 7 years later now owner of blanket is my kitty cat. I don’t remember when I use this blanket last time. 🙂

타래가 덮고있는 담요는 2008년도 말에서 2009년도 초에 거쳐 만들고 지난 기록을 보니 2009년 5월에 사진을 찍었네요. 시아버지가 옥션에서 경매로 오래된 실 한상자를 구매해서 선물해 주셨어요. 6~7년쯤 지난 지금 담요의 주인은 이미 타래입니다. 언제 마지막으로 덮어봤는지 기억이 가물하네요. 🙂
